Renewables
On December 1 Trailstone officially became a Market Member of the North American Energy Markets Association (NAEMA), an independent, nonprofit trade association representing more than 150 members, across 48 states and numerous Canadian provinces. NAEMA members own and operate over 700,000 megawatts of generating capacity and serve over 150 million electric and gas customers.
As a Market Member, Trailstone is looking forward to sharing ideas, building relationships, and promoting timely discussions around key trends and issues affecting renewable energy generation in North America. Trailstone’s Head of U.S. Power Origination Nate Collamer is Trailstone’s primary representative with the organization.
“We're thrilled to be joining NAEMA,” Collamer shared. “This is a long-standing energy marketing industry organization dating back to 1996 that provides a great forum for connecting with electric market customers and trading counterparties.”
Trailstone plans to attend several industry leading networking events hosted by NAEMA which provide an excellent opportunity to collaborate with and learn from other energy innovators and thought leaders. After all, sharing ideas that further the transition to renewable energy also promotes an informed, efficient and open energy marketplace.
“Their industry gatherings provide a great opportunity to network, debate policy, and generate new business,” Collamer said. “As power markets adapt to greater renewable and battery penetration, these forums are crucial for helping connect trading counterparties and promote free and open power markets.”
Trailstone’s membership in NAEMA directly supports Trailstone’s mission to make sustainable energy sustainable as NAEMA aims to be the leader in the North American energy industry for sharing ideas and innovation and the preeminent resource for networking relationship building, and business development opportunities.
